Lobbying activities disclosure

The San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business league. From time to time, SDMAC may engage in lobbying and advocacy activities at the federal, state, and local levels on behalf of its members and the broader military-civilian community it serves.

In accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 162(e), SDMAC is required to notify members that a portion of annual membership dues or fees may be allocable to lobbying activities and is therefore not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

For questions regarding this disclosure or SDMAC’s lobbying activities, please contact:  engagement@sdmac.org
SDMAC dedicates no more than 1% of its total annual revenue to lobbying activities, reflecting its commitment to keeping advocacy a limited and transparent part of its operations.
